The sun brightens our world, yet it is deadly for our skin. In New Zealand, the UV rays are particularly strong due to the thin ozone layer above us, along with our clean air. Thus, we are more susceptible to lasting skin damage. In my 242 design project, we aimed to design a wrist device that encourages sun smart behaviour, and protects New Zealanders from developing harmful skin diseases.
